Body Shop Chocomania Giveaway (Canada)

I have really been trying to eat healthy and avoid my most guilty pleasures. And at the top of that list? Chocolate! With chocolate, it’s not just about the taste – I love the smell of chocolate as well (in fact, I’m sitting here with a little smile just thinking about it!). So how can I face temptation without feeling deprived?

Enter The Body Shop’s newest line of products – Chocomania. I swear, when I opened the box, took out the products and took a deep breath – I was in heaven! It really makes me miss eating chocolate because I get the scent of chocolate at every turn!

There are a whole array of products in the Chocomania line – from Body Scrub ($18.00) to Shower Cream ($8.00) and Heart-shaped Soap ($4.00) for the tub to Body Lotion (12.00) and Body Butter ($18.00) to wear all day long. And the piece de resistance? Chocomania even makes Lip Butter ($6.00) (YUM!).

While I’ve been enjoying all of the products (believe me – it hasn’t been hard to do at all – I smell chocolate everywhere I go and it makes me happy!), my favourites are the Body Scrub, Shower Cream and Lip Balm. I love the Body Scrub because it smell just like fudge – yes, I said fudge! – and I can feel it exfoliating my skin when I use it in the shower. Well, and the obvious, it makes me happy because it smells like chocolate! The Shower Cream is also brilliant because the scent is divine and it suds up really well. And the Lip Butter? I know I’m going to be stating the obvious here – but every time I wear it I can literally smell chocolate as long as I have it applied (I’ve been known to purse my lips just so I can smell it even more, though I try not to do it too often because I’m sure it looks odd! It’s just I can’t help myself – it smells SO GOOD!).

If the scents and the quality of these products weren’t enough, I’m also really impressed with The Body Shop’s commitment to fair trade that has carried over into their Chocomania products. These products are chock full (pardon the pun!) of fair trade items and the Chocomania Body Butter actually contains 45% of fair trade ingredients which is awesome!

The Chocomania line of products will appear in The Body Shop on February 6th – just in time for Valentine’s Day! With prices ranging from $4.00 to $18.00, it is a great gift idea for the chocolate lover in your life!
