I’m afraid to see the hydro bill this month because the air conditioning has been running so much (but it has been worth it because it has been HOT outside and it likes to creep indoors too!).
How hot is it, you may ask?
This hot!
Here’s hoping for a little less humidity (I’m sorry little tree!)!

Out here in Victoria we really haven’t had much of a summer (but for a few days). Everything is still green around here; but I’m still looking forward to fall. I’m so not a heat person!
Oh wow. It is hot up where you are!
Holy! Poor trees! That looks like a fall photo, not midsummer!
I am with you on the scare of the Hydro bill – I received mine yesterday and it was DOUBLE what it normally is – and I attribute that 100% on the A/C running full tilt for basically two months straight..
That’s hot! Make sure you get some water so you don’t dry up too!
August 12-Yes; it is hot all over Maritime Provinces. Scarcely anyone is turning on sprinklers because we know water tables are low. I water my flowers for about ten minutes every second day. Farmers are worried about their crops and wondering how they will pay for feed for cattle and pigs this winter. It is the hottest, dryest summer here in at least fifty years. We did have some rain today in our small city. My daudhter, wlho lives 20 minutes from here on a farm, said they had hardly a sprinkling. So your sad little tree has lots of company I’m afraid!-el03ro
