Some Dads!

Happy Father’s Day!

Both Little One and Miss Eight are Daddy’s Girls – there is no question about it. And, I have to say, I can’t blame them because (even at the age of 40) I am Daddy’s Girl myself! For Father’s Day, I couldn’t wait to see their reaction to the book Some Dads by Nick Bland.

Both of the girls loved the book! There were elements of their dad that they found in the animals dads that graced the pages of this book. When Little One saw the frog dad and his child playing video games, she hollered, “That’s just like ME and Daddy!” while Miss Eight (who takes dance) said her dad was like the giraffe father watching his daughter dance.

I thought the book was cute and illustrations were really fun! I think this book would make a great Father’s Day gift from the kids as they’d enjoy reading it with their Dad!

June 19–This book sounds like a really good one to give children for their birthday or for a stocking stuffer or a Christmas gift. It is so nice to get a review of a book so one does not have to spend half an hour looking for a suitable one at the bookstore. Thanks, again, for the information.-el03ro
