There are many days where I get frustrated — like many people, I would love to see weight loss results overnight. What I’ve realized, however, is that taking it slow is the best way.
Now that I’ve found a path to wellness that is working for me, I’ve realized that the story of the tortoise and the hare is really true. Slow and steady will win the race. Though I’d like a total change right now, losing weight consistently through lifestyle changes will help me to keep the weight off in the long run.
So, I’m relishing the losses — this week I lost another 1.4 pounds — no matter how big or small. Each pound takes me closer to my final goal.
