Breast Cancer Ribbon Nail Designs- OPI Raises Awareness with Sparkle!

Sadly, like so many people, I have had to watch some amazing women in my life battle breast cancer. Some have been young while others have been older. This summer, after a long battle with cancer, my aunt passed away. Less than a month later, I learned that a co-worker who is also a friend had found a lump and would have undergo intense therapy. Much as these moments have led me to shed more than a few tears, I think it is tremendously important to raise awareness and show support through things as simple as wearing a breast cancer ribbon. OPI has taken the opportunity to raise both money and aware by combining sparkle and bling with breast cancer ribbon designs!

And, with October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the timing is perfect!

OPI recently launched the seventh annual limited edition Pink of Hearts promotion, featuring the classic sheer pink shade Pink-ing of You and the new sparkle-packed hue More than a Glimmer. Pink of Hearts 2013 also includes pink ribbon and crystal decals to allow people to create their own nail designs.

This pack is designed to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and support. This year, OPI is donating $25,000 in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month to Susan G. Komen. In addition, OPI is donating $5,000 to Rethink Breast Cancer in Canada.

The Pink of Hearts 2013 set is available at professional salons and spas across Canada, for approximately $19.95 per set. Buy a set for yourself or someone you care about help show your support for breast cancer awareness!
