Cold Stone Creamery (Tim Hortons) Review and Giveaway (Canada)

Growing up, ice cream was one of THE greatest treats of the summer! You can do so many cool things with ice cream – enjoy an ice cream cone, make milkshakes or (my personal favourite), make ice cream sundaes! While I love making ice cream sundaes, I often great frustrated because making a good sundae involves having a lot of different component parts to add to the sundae and, when I do have a craving, I can’t be bothered taking the time (or spending the money) to get all the different things I want to add to my sundae.

Cold Stone Creamery has taken decadent ice cream to a whole new level! When we went on a recent road trip to a local large city, we took the opportunity to check out Cold Stone Creamery and try some of their ice cream treats!

When we arrived, we discovered it was really difficult to choose what to try because there are so many amazing options! The girls were really drawn to the ice cream cakes but I didn’t want to try and transport it home (it’s been really hot here!). While I really liked the take home ice cream flavours available, I didn’t want to try and transport it either so we kept looking – there were still lots of other things to choose from!

In the end we all tried different things. My littlest loved the colours of the Cake Batter Sprinkle Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich. I discovered that it includes Cake Batter Ice Cream sandwiched by Chocolate Chip Cookies and rolled in rainbow sprinkles. She loved it! I must admit I tried a couple of bites and found it to be flavourful and sweet! My middle girl got a Peanut Butter Cup Perfection Signature Creation. She is a big peanut butter and chocolate fan and she hasn’t stopped talking about how much she loved this Cold Stone Creamery creation!

I decided to try something different and had a Strawberry Raspberry Lifestyle Smoothie. It was delicious! The fruit flavours were fresh and natural and it really hit the spot for me!

In addition to all different items we tried, you can also get ice cream in 3 different sizes and a variety of flavours – next time I really want to try the Tim Hortons Apple Fritter flavoured ice cream! Right now, Tim Hortons has announced in their Fresh News that you can get a Like ItTM size plain ice cream in a cup at Cold Stone Creamery for $1.99 (waffle products & mix-ins available for additional charge). I think I may be going back!

As well, you can also get a Signature Creation in a cup Buy 1 Get 1 Free (am amazing deal!) with this printable coupon that is good until the end of July!
