While the part of the country I live in is not as much of the “Great White North” as some of my fellow Canadians (can you say Nunavut?) we do have to deal with some pretty blustery conditions. Growing up, I used to make a lot of jokes about wishing I was born in California! As I’ve grown older, however, I’ve learned that there are so many things that Canadian winters have to offer.
